The Adega de Moncao lies virtually on the border with Spain in the far north of Portugal. The cooperative has just celebrated its 50th year and is a model of well organised, modern production. The wine is a 60/40 blend of Alvarinho (Albarino just over the border) and Trajadur. Fresh and fruity, and most of all a relaxing 11 degrees of alcohol. A perfect aperitif wine. |
